On the hottest day of the year so far, Friday 19th July, the entire school community of Aspirations Academy came together for an unforgettable Sports Day, with everyone striving to earn points for their colleges. It was a true festival of sport and physical activity, as students competed in 11 different activities to score points.

The events included traditional athletics such as the 100m, high jump, and long jump, as well as unique challenges like Beat the Goalie, Vortex Howler Throw, Slack Line crossing, and the perennial favourite, Tug of War. Following a brilliant BBQ lunch provided by the Technology department, the whole campus gathered for the eagerly awaited relay races.

This year saw our highest ever student participation, and we are immensely proud of everyone for their enthusiastic engagement. Those who competed and contributed to their college’s score performed brilliantly, representing their colleges and our school with excellence and spirit.

Congratulations and well done to all involved.
