This week, our school has been buzzing with scientific excitement as we celebrated British Science Week. Our amazing students dived headfirst into the world of STEM and the results have been spectacular!
YR7 & 8: They put their engineering skills to the test, building incredible bridges and boats! We saw some truly innovative designs and teamwork in action. Huge congratulations to everyone who took part!
YR9: Physics fanatics unleashed! They designed and built mind-blowing marble runs, showcasing their knowledge of gravity, momentum and more. The competition was fierce and the creativity was off the charts!
YR10: Our Year 10s explored the fascinating world of DNA and STEM careers and even extracted DNA from strawberries! How cool is that? It was a hands-on experience that brought biology to life.
We’re so proud of all our students for their enthusiasm and dedication this week. They’ve shown us that the future of science is bright! Keep exploring, keep questioning and keep innovating!
